Volunteers wanted for Girl Guiding Leaders
Hello Everyone
We are looking for Leader Volunteers to support the 1st Luanda Brownies, the branch of Girguiding UK that has been functioning here in Talatona for several years now.
Girlguiding is the leading charity for girls and young women in the U.K. It focuses on building girls’ confidence and raising their aspirations while giving them the chance to discover their full potential and encouraging them to be a powerful force for good.
Here in Talatona, the program targets students from Year 2 – Year 5 who meet weekly to share in activities as prescribed by Girlguiding UK. Out of our current Leader Volunteers, only one will remain with the program for the next school year so it is now necessary for us to seek new volunteers. There are several different roles available:
Inventory and supplies
Administrative and finance
Meeting Leaders
No formal advance training is necessary, guidance will be provided as you sign up.
