Their website says they’re “Gourmet” on a large scale. We’ve heard great things about their fresh produce and although it’s a little pricey, members have said it’s worth a visit.

Do you have a favourite market that you like to shop at and can recommend?

Some members recently had lunch at Chic in Talatona. “The sushi was amazing, the service was really good and the caipirinhas were quite generous!!”                                 They are open Monday – Saturday from noon to 11pm.

Do you have a restaurant  that you’ve just discovered that you can tell us about?

On Childcare

We have had an enquiry from a family moving to Angola in a few months with a newborn. They ask if anyone knows of an English speaking nanny agency? Although we aren’t aware of any, maybe those of you with little ones may have heard or may have some advice for the newcomers. Please email us at and we can pass on any thoughts.

On Travel

Are there any members who have traveled around Africa this Summer and can recommend destinations, hotels, agents etc? Any tips you can pass on for future travels? Please email us at and we can share your advise.
