Coffee, champagne, crafts and….running!
The first coffee morning after the break will be held next Friday, 21st August at 10.30am at the home of Committee Member, Emma Dolton in Atlantico Sul, Talatona. This will be a chance to catch up with old friends and meet new faces who’ve arrived over the summer. You’ll also have a chance to buy tickets for:
A Touch of Sparkle
Join us for LBW’s Touch of Sparkle evening on the terrace of the British Embassy for music, drinks and canapes. Tickets are available now. It sold out last year so make sure you get yours early!
Tickets will be 12,000 AKz for members and 14,000 for non-members. This will include all drinks and canapés plus entertainment from a local singing artist plus dancing till midnight! There will also be a raffle on the night with a variety of fabulous prizes! Tickets available from committe members – we will be at the Welcome Back Coffee on the 21st, and at various LBW upcoming events or you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As well as all our wonderful LBW events, there’s plenty to do around Angola in the next month including this month’s Hash Harriers get together, Africare’s Polio Campaign, the monthly Talatona Craft Fair where all crafts are handmade in Angola and start warming up for the Luanda City International Half Marathon and Family Run. Runners take their mark on the Marginal at 9am on Saturday, 6th September.
