As June approaches, most of us have travel on our minds and LBW has travel updates, tips and reviews newly updated on our website.
New immigration rules in South Africa – As of 1st June, parents travelling with children (under 18) may be asked to show the child’s full birth certificate, and where only one parent is accompanying, proof of parental or legal authority to travel with the child. Go to our travel section for more info.
Tips – For those of you travelling through Brussels to Angola you will have to leave from Terminal T – BUT a LBW member warns us that there are no shops or decent coffee shops there and no restaurants at all. She suggests grabbing a coffee on the way or just go to Terminal A first, go through immigration (it’s worth it!) and enjoy great last minute shops and restaurants. It’s an easy walk through the glass doors into Terminal T to board your plane.
We have new travel reviews for restaurants in Egypt and a wealth of info about Camps Bay in South Africa.
And finally, if you can’t get out but long for sites of Africa, take a look at these amazing photos from Africa Geographic magazine.
